The Tennessee Highway Patrol has asked the public for assistance locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Loretto.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Highway Patrol has asked for assistance locating a vehicle connected to a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in Loretto.

The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. on Oct. 26 along Highway 43 near Smith Circle.

The vehicle was seen traveling north toward Lawrenceburg after the incident, according to THP.

Officials said the vehicle is a white or silver extended cab pickup truck, which may be a Ford Ranger or Mazda. The truck is believed to be a model produced between the years 2000 to 2010. The front end may also be damaged.
