CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Clovis Police Department has released information about a multiple-victim shooting. They said it was originally reported around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday.

According to authorities, dispatch was contacted early in the morning for reports of six to 30 gunshots near 900 Plaza Drive. At the scene, officers reported seeing several crashed vehicles, and a 17-year-old boy who had been shot in the chest. He was hospitalized, and other officers noticed multiple casings in the road.

Another victim, who was a 24-year-old woman, was also hospitalized as she had been shot in the face. Both victims were reported to be stable as of 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
