Firefighters battled a blaze in Montgomery County early Sunday morning that destroyed one home and damaged others.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Firefighters battled a blaze in Montgomery County early Sunday morning that destroyed one home and damaged others.

According to Montgomery County Fire Service, multiple stations responded to a structure fire on Deerstand Drive in Woodlawn at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, with mutual aid from the Fort Campbell Fire Department.

When units arrived at the scene, they said they found a house fully involved in flames and exposures on both sides.

Fire officials described that home as a “total loss.” In addition, the siding was damaged on the houses next to it.

Crews said they cleared the scene of the fire around 5 a.m. No injuries were reported following the blaze, but the American Red Cross was asked to help the family.

Officials have not released any additional details about Sunday morning’s fire, including what caused it.
