MILLBURY, Mass. (WWLP) – Another brush fire turned deadly over the weekend.
In Millbury on Saturday night, the Massachusetts State Police say a woman was found dead when they were sent to a brush fire. The fire occurred near the Blackstone River Bikeway. The woman was in an encampment where they believe the fire started.
The Millbury Fire Department was able to put out the fire completely. The woman’s identity has not been released at this time.
The origin and cause of the fire are being investigated by Millbury Fire, Millbury Police, and State Police assigned to the State Fire Marshal and Worcester District Attorney.
