NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Six people, including two juveniles, were arrested after a “Street Racer Initiative,” which occurred over the weekend in Davidson County.
According to officials, the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) partnered with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) on Saturday, Oct. 26, to make the stops and arrests.

Authorities reported two adults and two juveniles were arrested on 14 charges, including reckless driving, evading arrest and unlawful possession of weapons.
At least one of the adults was tracked to Hickman County by a helicopter, where he was then arrested and returned Nashville, police said.
Meanwhile, two other adults were given misdemeanor citations for reckless driving and not having drivers licenses.
Police did not share any additional details about the adults’ identities or where the stops were made.

“The MNPD Traffic Division is committed to continuing its investigations into street racer groups that are causing damage and harm through their dangerous driving,” said police in a statement released on Monday.
